The radiant bride exchanged vows with her groom in a traditional church ceremony wearing a strapless gown with lace overlay for this wedding planned by Arney Walker. Light pink and white floral arrangements from Amaryllis Inc. lined both sides of the aisle, as well as made up the bride's bouquet at their ceremony held at Dahlgren Chapel of the Sacred Heart. Guests received classic white invitations printed with grey calligraphy font for all the details of this black tie event. The bride's hair was styled in an updo and topped with a veil as she exchanged vows with her groom in his traditional black tuxedo, with matching groomsmen by his side. The bridesmaids were all dressed in pale grey dresses of various styles and carried matching bouquets. Following the ceremony, the newlyweds headed outside to the balcony which was covered with flowers for some bridal portraits.

Their tented reception held at Decatur House in Washington, D.C. was abundantly decorated with light pink and white floral arrangements displayed on chandeliers as well as centerpieces and lining the edges of the tent. Tall, white taper candles glowed inside clear glass hurricane vases. A tall, grey board seating chart display featured bookmarks for attendees to be guided to their seats. Guests enjoyed cocktails and a meal of sea bass, short ribs, or vegetarian choice. The dessert was a candy buffet featuring multiple choices of colorful candies as well as a three-tier wedding cake with flower accents and frosting details. The bride changed into a short, silver sparkling dress with fringe that was perfect for dancing on the black and white checkered dance floor with her new husband. John Cain Photography captured all the beautiful details. Guests sent the bride and groom on their way with a sparkler send off at the end of this lovely day.
